The Aalto 9's bass comes from a massive 21-inch paper cone driver that can handle up to 1100 watts of power. The midrange is handled by a 10-inch paper cone, and high-frequency accuracy is ensured by a 1-inch compression driver with a horn.
The frequency response is impressive, extending deep into the 20 Hz range and all the way up to 24,000 Hz. The phase response remains exceptionally accurate, allowing for natural sound quality.
The amplifier is a professional-grade model that delivers a generous 1500 watts of total power. The amplifier features an analog XLR input, an AES/EBU XLR connection, and an optional Dante input. It also has a USB port for room correction, which can be adjusted using the FourAudio System Software for Windows and Mac OS.
