The car model-specific reversing camera is installed in the place of the car's original additional brake light. The additional brake light camera is IP68 protected, so the camera is completely dustproof and can withstand high-pressure water jets.
The camera has a fixed cable with a multi-pole connector and a 10m cable is delivered with the camera, which can be used to connect the camera to e.g. an Alpine player or a separate monitor.

Installation:
- Connect the yellow RCA connector to the reverse camera connector on the player / monitor. If necessary, use the supplied RCA Male - RCA Male adapter. If you use a player with an Alpine Direct connector, you need the AH-CAMA-Alp1 adapter
- Connect the red wire to the Reverse wire found on the steering wheel remote control.
- Ground the black wire
- Connect the other end of the 10m extension cable to the wire on the brake light camera.
- Connect the other end of the 10m extension cable to the power / ground / video signal cable.
- Cut the green wire in the camera if you don't want guide lines in the reversing image
- Test that the camera works with the reverse gear before attaching everything.
- If the screen goes black, but there is no camera image, check the camera connections.
- If the display does not react to the reverse gear in any way, check that the player receives the reverse information from e.g. the steering wheel remote control. Also check that the camera in the player is set to ON and the camera image type is NTSC.
