The Alpine Status collection includes many technologies, components and materials familiar from Alpine's F#1 Status collection, which guarantee the best possible sound quality - but at a more affordable price than the F#1 Status collection.
Alpine Status is capable of playing music up to 192kHz/24bit quality, which is available from various online services and streaming platforms.

Top-class two-way series
The Alpine F#1 Status collection has been a very big influence on Alpine Status speakers, both in terms of technology and materials. The speaker set has 170mm midbass, 70mm ring-radiator tweeters and high-end passive filters.
The speaker set is Hi-Res Audio certified and can play up to 40kHz.

Carbon fiber
All elements of the HDS-65C speaker series use the same carbon fiber composite cone, which provides the most uniform reproduction for all elements. As a material, carbon fiber composite is extremely light but rigid, which enables a very wide dynamic range of reproduction and the possibility of minimal distortion.

Double suspension
Like the Alpine F#1 Status collection, the Status speakers also have a double top suspension.
The double upper suspension allows for a large range of movement of the cone and keeps the cone under control like never before. Compared to a traditional suspension, the trajectory of the Alpine Status speaker stays really well under control.

High End ring-radiator tweeters
The sound of the 70mm ring-radiator tweeters is really pleasant and effortless, and the speakers' reproduction reaches up to 40kHz. The elements have a 25mm carbon fiber composite cone and the harmony of the reproduction and the integration with the mid-bass middle sound is really seamless.
The tweeters have a chamber structure and an efficient neodymium magnet.

Complete Alpine Status hardware
All components of the Alpine Status collection are made purely with sound quality conditions and the best possible listening pleasure in mind. Unlike the F#1 Status collection, all components of Alpine Status can be purchased separately.

Top-quality crossover filters
If you want to run the speaker series passively, the HDS-653 comes with triple filters assembled from top-class components.
The filters have treble level adjustment (0, -3dB, +3dB) and you can choose 12dB or 6dB per octave as the mid-bass pitch.

Top sound quality
Alpine Status can play music at up to 192kHz/24bit quality, which uses more than six times the amount of data compared to a traditional CD or streaming service.
