Large – Larger – Alpine Halo 11
ILX-F115D-Crafter is a player with an XXL size 11″ WXGA touch screen, made for VW Crafter and MAN TGE model. The ILX-F115D-Crafter fits the car's dashboard perfectly and the player also supports the car's original steering wheel buttons and brings all today's multimedia features to the car. Through the player, you can also change the car's settings, which you previously did with the car's original player.

The player can be installed in all VW Crafters that originally had Composition Audio, Composition Media or Discover Media.

11″ XXL HD screen
The Alpine Halo11 has a 1280 x 720p (WXGA) resolution and the screen area is 49% larger than the highly popular Alpine Halo 9 player. The icons, menus and details on the screen are therefore larger and more detailed.

Wireless Apple CarPlay
The iLX-F115D-Crafter works wirelessly with the iPhone and you can, among other things, receive and make calls, dictate messages using Siri or Whatsapp and use, for example, Google Maps, Apple's Maps application or Spotify streaming while the phone is in your pocket.

Original steering wheel buttons
If your car is equipped with steering wheel buttons, these also work with the ILX-F115D-Crafter. You can perform basic functions without taking your hands off the wheel, such as muting the player, changing e.g. the program source or radio channel, adjusting the volume, etc.

Two USB inputs
The Alpine Halo11 does not contain a CD/DVD drive, but thanks to the two USB connections, you can, for example, charge your phone through one connector, and the other connector can hold a USB stick or hard drive from which you play music and video files.

Angle, depth and height adjustment
When installing the iLX-F115D-Crafter on the dashboard, there are several different installation options. The depth adjustment of the screen has two positions and there are five different height options. The tilt angle of the screen can be turned steplessly, and unlike the first generation Halo player, the screen tilt can also be adjusted after installing the player.

The world's first car stereo with a class D amplifier
The Alpine iLX-F115D-Crafter is the world's first car retrofit with a built-in 4 x 50W Class D amplifier. The advantage of class D is an incredibly good efficiency (about 90%) compared to the efficiency of a class AB amplifier (about 50-70%). New and almost silent high-speed fans keep the player cool.

Pioneer in sound quality
Alpine's sound quality has become a concept that other instrument brands are always compared to.
A 56-band parametric equalizer, two-way crossover filters, six-channel digital delay controls, and separate Bass Engine SQ and MediaXpander allow you to adjust the sound exactly the way you want it.
And it didn't end there, because the iLX-F115D-Crafter is Hi-Res Audio certified and the player is able to play 96kHZ / 1.536 kbps lossless files from USB in FLAC, WAV and APE formats.

The TIDAL app
Alpine ILX-705D / ILX-F905D / ILX-F115D are the world's first retrofit car stereos that enable completely uncompressed music streaming from TIDAL. With Alpine, a WiFi connection is created to e.g. the phone's hotspot, after which Alpine is directly connected to TIDAL's servers. The music is not compressed or compressed at any point and you get the best possible sound quality!
When the phone's hotspot and TIDAL are active, Apple CarPlay exceptionally requires the phone to be connected to the player with a USB cable.
The TIDAL application requires updating the player's software to version 2.0.000

Car settings management
When the VW Crafter's factory-installed player is replaced, it is especially important not to lose the car's settings controlled via the original player. Alpine offers a unique solution for this, which allows you to modify the car's settings from the touch screen of the Halo9 / Halo11 player.*

*) If the original player has traffic sign recognition, this function will be disabled. The kit does not support cars with Active Information Display.

Entertainment on the big screen
In addition to the traditional RDS tuner, you also have a digital DAB radio and the option to play video files (MP4, MOV, FLV, MKV) via the USB connection. Bluetooth, on the other hand, allows you to play music from your phone and make hands-free calls, and you can bring images and sound from an external device to the HDMI input. When you connect your Android phone with a USB cable, you can use all the functions of Android Auto, such as Spotify , Google Maps , Waze , etc.

Air conditioner screen
When you adjust the car's air conditioning, Alpine displays this information on a large screen and indicates, among other things, the driver's and passenger's side temperatures, information about the seat heaters, and the blowing strength. The information comes on the screen automatically for a few seconds when any setting of the air conditioner is changed.

Reversing radar and reversing camera display
If your car has a factory-installed reversing radar, this also works seamlessly with Alpine. If a reversing camera is installed in your car, you can also get the reversing camera and radar screens on the screen at the same time if you wish.

MFD display
The ILX-F115D-Crafter also supports the car's MFD (Multi Function Display) in the instrument panel. You can see the name of the radio channel, song information, etc., just like on the original player.

Pre-Flight Check
For touring and camping car use, Alpine can remind when starting off that, for example, the car's gas taps are closed, all the necessary doors are closed, the car's outriggers are removed, etc.
You can choose the settings for your own car yourself or disable these reminders completely.

We definitely recommend the KAE-HF11DA protective film for the ILX-F115D-Crafter. The film prevents fingerprints, protects the screen from scratches and improves the readability of the screen in direct sunlight. With the help of the film, you can keep the screen as good as new. KAE-HF11DA also includes a microfibre cloth and for installation a plastic spatula and tape for removing dust particles.

Wireless volume control (Accessory)
The Alpine RUE-BK01 is a Bluetooth-operated volume control that can be paired with the ILX-F115D-Crafter. By pressing the volume knob, you can view the reversing or front camera image.
