Second generation Alpine Halo9
Since its launch, the Alpine Halo9 has won numerous awards and has become one of the world's most famous and popular car stereos. We've developed the player even further and now we've made it even better. This second generation Halo9 includes e.g. 720p WXGA screen, wireless Apple CarPlay, two USB ports and, among other things, we have improved its sound quality even further, increased adjustment possibilities and much, much more.

9″ XL size WXDA screen
Alpine Halo9 has a 1280 x 720p (WXGA) resolution, which means the screen has more than 2.7 million pixels. Thanks to this, all icons, menus and, for example, navigation map information are displayed really sharp and clear.
The display is attached to a 1-DIN frame, which is made to fit most 1- and 2-DIN mounting locations.

Wireless Apple CarPlay
The iLX-F905D works wirelessly with the iPhone and you can, among other things, receive and make calls, dictate messages using Siri and use, for example, Google Maps, Apple's Maps application, WhatsApp or Spotify streaming while the phone is in your pocket.
You can easily use Siri by pressing the player's voice control button once.

Two USB inputs
Alpine Halo9 does not contain a CD/DVD drive, but thanks to the two USB connections, you can, for example, charge your phone through one connector, and the other connector can hold a USB stick or hard drive from which you play music and video files.

Angle, depth and height adjustment
When installing the iLX-F905D on the dashboard, there are several different installation options. The depth adjustment of the screen has two positions and there are five different height options. The tilt angle of the screen can be turned steplessly and unlike the first generation Halo9 player, the screen tilt can also be adjusted after the player is installed.

The world's first car stereo with a class D amplifier
Alpine iLX-F905D is the world's first retrofit car stereo with a built-in 4 x 50W amplifier. The advantage of a class D amplifier is an incredibly good efficiency (about 90%) compared to the efficiency of a class AB amplifier (about 50-70%). New and almost silent high-speed fans keep the player cool.

Pioneer in sound quality
Alpine's sound quality has become a concept that other instrument brands are always compared to.
A 56-band parametric equalizer, two-way crossover filters, six-channel digital delay controls, and separate Bass Engine SQ and MediaXpander allow you to adjust the sound exactly the way you want it.
And it didn't end there, because the iLX-F905D is Hi-Res Audio certified and the player is able to play 96kHZ / 1.536 kbps lossless files from USB in FLAC, WAV and APE formats.

Entertainment on the big screen
In addition to the traditional RDS tuner, you also have a digital DAB radio and the option to play video files (MP4, MOV, FLV, MKV) via the USB connection. Bluetooth, on the other hand, allows you to play music from your phone and make hands-free calls, and you can bring images and sound from an external device to the HDMI input. When you connect your Android phone with a USB cable, you get access to all the functions of Android Auto, such as Spotify, Google Maps, Waze, etc.

Vehicle Data Bus
If your car is equipped with a factory-installed reversing camera, Alpine has info adapters available as an accessory for many car models, with which you can get the reversing camera and the original steering wheel buttons to work with the Halo9 player as well.
Certain adapters also support air conditioner/heater information data.

Camera management
A reversing camera is a piece of equipment that we recommend for every car. The camera image appears on the large 9″ screen automatically, when the reverse gear is switched on. The camera's guidance lines can be adjusted according to the dimensions of your car, making reversing and understanding distances even easier.
Due to the player's large screen, we recommend only Alpine MultiView cameras with a sufficient 1280 x 960 resolution.

Alpine DVR-C320S dashboard camera management
Alpine Halo9 is compatible with the Alpine DVR-C320S dashboard camera. You can see the live image of the camera and the recordings made by the camera on the large screen, and you can change the camera settings easily from the touch screen.
