Alpine KIT-HALO-G7
KIT-HALO-G7 is an installation kit with which you can install an Alpine iLX-F115D, iLX-F905D or iNE-F904D player in a VW Golf.
You won't lose the reversing camera or radar
If your car has Volkswagen's original reversing camera and/or original reversing radars, KIT-HALO-G7 supports these functions. If you want, you can also get the radar and camera view on the screen of Alpine's player at the same time.
Air conditioner screen
When you adjust the car's air conditioning in the VW Golf, Alpine displays this information on a large screen and indicates, among other things, the temperatures on the driver's and passenger's side, information on the seat heaters, and the blowing strength.
The information comes on the screen automatically for a few seconds when any setting of the air conditioner is changed.
Instrument display
KIT-HALO-G7 also supports the MFD display in the car's dashboard. You can see e.g. radio channel names and information.
In addition, the instrument panel shows navigation guidance arrows (only with INE-F904D's built-in navigation, not with CarPlay / AndroidAuto navigation).
Car settings management
When the VW Golf's factory-installed player is replaced, it is especially important not to lose the car's settings controlled via the original player. Alpine offers a unique solution for this, which allows you to modify the car's settings from the touch screen of your new player.*
*) If the original player has traffic sign recognition, this function will be disabled.

Original steering wheel buttons
KIT-HALO-G7 also supports your car's original steering wheel buttons. You can perform basic functions without taking your hands off the wheel, such as muting the player, changing e.g. the program source or radio channel, adjusting the volume, etc.

KIT-HALO-G7 is compatible with the following Alpine players: iLX-F115D , iLX-F905D and INE- F904D
Original microphone
If your car has Volkswagen's own hands-free microphone, the KIT-HALO-G7 enables this to be connected to the Alpine, which makes installation easier and faster.
Note: If your car does not have an original microphone, you need a microphone (spare part number: 3BO 035 711 B B41) and a KWE-901G7MIC intermediate cable.
Two USB inputs
The Alpine KIT-HALO-G7 comes with a USB/Aux connection, which you use to replace the car's original USB connection. This allows you to use the USB connection as you are used to with the original player.

- Cars with the eCall emergency call function require a 1424-28 adapter
- Cars without a factory-installed HF microphone require the original microphone (part number: 3BO 035 711 B B41) and the KWE-901G7MIC intermediate cable.
- KIT-HALO-G7 does not support the traffic sign recognition of the original player
- KIT-HALO-G7 is not compatible with the following models: VW Golf Sportsvan , VW e-Golf , VW Golf GTE and cars with Active Info Display on the instrument panel and/or Dynaudio Sound System
