Alpine OPTIM8 – A new era in car audio
Alpine takes car audio to a whole new level, with the OPTIM8 designed to enhance the sound of any system.
The eight-channel DSP amplifier uses Eilex PRISM™ technology, an unprecedented solution for automotive applications. Eilex PRISM™ measures the frequency response using the APVD (Acoustic Power Volume Density) method and simultaneously corrects for system frequency, time and phase errors. In this way, the sound is as close as possible to the way it was originally recorded in the studio.
This happens automatically and takes the user a maximum of five minutes!
All-In-One
Upgrade your factory or aftermarket system to a new era with the Alpine OPTIM8. Featuring an eight-channel amplifier that is Hi-Res Audio certified and capable of 96kHz/24bit playback, the OPTIM8 is an all-in-one solution that solves frequency, phase and delay problems in minutes.
Prone to everything
The Alpine OPTIM8 is suitable for use with both original and aftermarket car equipment. The built-in amplifier provides 6 x 35W (4ohm) + 2 x 130W (4ohm) or alternatively 6 x 70W (2ohm) + 2 x 260W (2ohm).
OPTIM8 inputs include six-channel RCA inputs, eight-channel speaker-level inputs, a digital coaxial input, a USB (DAC) input, and a Bluetooth input.
The speaker-level input supports up to 26V signals, so the OPTIM8 is compatible with all cars with a factory-installed amplifier.
Automatic adjustment
Adjust your equipment in less than five minutes thanks to innovative auto-adjustment.
Alpine OPTIM8 eliminates complicated adjustment procedures, as automatic adjustments can be made using a free iPhone app or alternatively a PC connected to the KTX-CSP1 calibration microphone.
Alpine Auto-EQ, which utilizes Eilex PRISM™ technology and VIR filters, makes the tuning process incredibly easy. You will receive on-screen instructions to take accurate measurements of your car's acoustics.
After the measurement, you will get a graphic curve on the screen of the PC software or iPhone application, which shows all the changes. If you want, you can then make fine adjustments to the sound according to your own taste. During the measurement, you carry the microphone (or iPhone) in the car's cockpit and the system makes hundreds of measurements during this time. The end result is a very accurate and natural reproduction.

Note: Before using Auto-EQ for the first time (or when changing the hardware configuration), OPTIM8 is always connected to a PC, where the user, among other things, defines the input and output connections and crossovers used by the amplifier.

Eilex PRISM™ technology
Built-in Eilex PRISM™ technology measures frequency response as APVD (Acoustic Power Volume Density). Highly efficient VIR (Variable Impulse Response) DSP filters simultaneously correct frequency, time and phase errors in the speakers. This technology ensures that the reproduction is as close to the original recording as possible, and the correction brings a significant improvement in reproduction.
The key advantage of Eilex PRISM™ is highly reliable measurements, regardless of the user and the measurement environment. VIR DSP filters, on the other hand, outperform traditional DSP filters in all aspects.

Easy control with the controller
The OPTIM8 comes with a wired remote control for basic functions. The remote control allows you to adjust the volume, select saved settings (six presets) and select the input to use (Digital Coaxial, USB, Bluetooth, Speaker Level, RCA).
Bluetooth as standard
In addition to the traditional RCA and speaker level inputs, you can also stream music from your phone directly to the amplifier using Bluetooth.
Hi-Res Audio certified
Alpine OPTIM8 is Hi-Res Audio certified and the DSP amplifier has a frequency response range of 10 – 45,000 Hz. The ultra-wide frequency response takes your music to a new level and brings out every detail in your recording.
High-quality calibration microphone (optional)
The KTX-CSP1 , sold as an accessory, is a high-quality adjustment microphone for the OPTIM8 amplifier. The adjustment process is simple, as you connect the microphone to your amplifier and move the microphone around the car during the measurement process according to the instructions. OPTIM8 creates hundreds of measurement points and makes corrections to the necessary areas according to the measurement results.
The microphone has a three-meter high-quality cable.

Want better sound in your car? The Alpine OPTIM8 features an eight-channel amplifier and eight-channel signal processor.
The automatic adjustment function takes hundreds of measurements around the listening position and automatically corrects for frequency, time and phase errors.
