Description
Alpine's legendary R collection
Alpine R-Series includes amplifiers, subwoofers and separate sets and coaxial speakers. Over the years, the R-Series has already become a kind of concept when you want the best possible sound quality, performance and reliability for the sound side of the car.
The new R-Series amplifiers further reinforced this notion.
R2-A60F is Hi-Res Audio certified and the playback range of the amplifier reaches 45,000 hertz, thanks to which the sound is really accurate and that playback range extends even above the human hearing range.
The amplifier's installation and usability are even easier, because compared to the previous model, the new R2-A60F is physically smaller than its predecessor and all adjustments can be found under the cover on top of the amplifier.
Smaller “footprint”
The R2-A60F is 15% smaller than its predecessor (R-A60F), but still offers as much power as its predecessor.
Extensive adjustment possibilities
Under the cover of the R2-A60F, you will find very versatile crossover filters. If you control coaxials or a separate set with the amplifier, you can drive the full frequency band to the speakers or you can cut the lowest frequencies from these elements with a high-pass filter. If, on the other hand, you control the subwoofer, you cut the higher frequencies out of the signal with a low-pass filter. Best of all, the amplifier also has bandpass crossover filters, which you can use for mid-bass or mid-tones and you can cut both the highest and lowest frequencies out of them.
Purely for subwoofer use, the collection includes R2-A75M and R2-A150M (coming at the end of 2023).
Trickle Down, i.e. trickle down effect
Alpine uses the "trickle down" principle in its production, i.e. the so-called trickle down effect. A good example of this is the R-Series amplifiers, which use the familiar design, performance and technology from the Alpine F#1 Status flagship collection in a more affordable price range.
Easier installation
Installability and usability have also been taken into account in the design of the amplifier. All the power, speaker and RCA connections are on the same edge, and all the controls of the amplifier can be found under the cover on top of the amplifier. In addition, the "foot print" required by the amplifier, i.e. the surface area, has been reduced by 15% compared to the previous generation R-Series amplifier.
The amplifier also does not have separate mounting feet, but the mounting holes of the amplifier are integrated into the body of the amplifier.
The perfect amplifier for R-Series speakers and subs
R-Series amplifiers are designed to be a perfect pairing with R-Series subwoofers and speaker sets. Naturally, all R-Series coaxial and separate sets are also Hi Res Audio certified.
