HAMR
High Amplitude Multi-Roll (HAMR) is Alpine's patented upper suspension. Compared to traditional suspension, HAMR suspension maintains a significantly more linear cone trajectory, especially at higher volumes where the standard suspension starts to take on a life of its own.

Carbon fiber/polypropylene cone
The S-Series subwoofer's cone material is a combination of carbon fiber and polypropylene. Thanks to the lightweight yet sturdy cone, the ten-inch driver extends down to 25 Hz, producing distortion-free and pleasant bass throughout its entire range, regardless of the musical style.

Dual coils and proper cooling
The Alpine S2-W10D2 has two 2-ohm voice coils. The subwoofer comes with jumpers that allow you to easily make the desired connection. The spring-loaded terminals are placed side by side, which makes connection even easier.
The terminals accept up to 8mm² speaker cable.
