The best sound quality
The Alpine Status collection includes many technologies, components and materials familiar from Alpine's F#1 Status collection, which guarantee the best possible sound quality - but at a more affordable price than the F#1 Status collection.
Alpine Status is capable of playing music up to 192kHz/24bit quality, which is available from various online services and streaming platforms.
28cm (11″) High-Performance Subwoofer
The subwoofer of the Alpine Status collection, the HDZ-110, is made very far with the same recipes as the subwoofer of the F#1 Status flagship collection.
The 11″ element has two 2-ohm voice coils, double suspensions, a large ferrite magnet and sturdy connectors.
Carbon fiber cone
The HDZ-110 has a carbon fiber composite cone, which is the exact same cone material as the cones used in the Alpine Status separate sets. This ensures as equal a sound as possible among all elements.
As a material, carbon fiber composite is extremely light but rigid, which enables a very wide dynamic range of reproduction and the possibility of minimal distortion.
Complete Alpine Status hardware
All components of the Alpine Status collection are made purely with sound quality conditions and the best possible listening pleasure in mind. Unlike the F#1 Status collection, all components of Alpine Status can be purchased separately.
Quality from the top of the world
The technology of the HDZ-110 is very close to the Alpine F#1 Status subwoofer. Among other things, the double upper suspension enables a large range of movement of the cone and keeps the cone under control in an unprecedented way. Compared to traditional suspension, the reproduction of the Alpine Status subbar stays really well under control.
Two times two ohms
The HDZ-110 has two 2-ohm voice coils. You can control one subwoofer with two mono amplifiers or, alternatively, bridge the voice coils and you can use a four-ohm load for the amplifier.
At the bottom of the page you can find a pdf file with different connection options.
Top sound quality
Alpine Status can play music at up to 192kHz/24bit quality, which uses more than six times the amount of data compared to a traditional CD or streaming service.
Thanks to this, you get the finest nuances and details out of the music and get as close to studio-level sound as it's ever possible to get.
