Audio restrictions

The cockpit of the Fiat Ducato is not particularly optimal for good sound reproduction. The Ducato's doors do not have sound insulation at all, which causes problems for bass reproduction, the door panel resonates more easily and, in addition, music can be heard very well outside the car, for example when listening to the radio at a campsite.
By adding the SWC-D84S subwoofer, you get a low and pleasant bass reproduction and avoid the above-mentioned problems.

Low 20cm subwoofer

The 20cm low-built subwoofer has two voice coils (2 x 2ohm) and a 250W power rating. The subwoofer can be connected to the rear speaker outputs of the Alpine player. If your car also has rear speakers, they can be left on normally.
However, the best result is achieved when a separate SWA-150KIT amplifier is purchased for the subwoofer, which fits directly into the Alpine player, and the amplifier is installed in the center console, hidden behind the cup holder.

Perfect fit

The metal mounting adapter fits directly under the Fiat Ducato cup holder. The subwoofer "slides" into the rack and integrates perfectly into the center console. A Plug & Play cable set is included to connect the subwoofer to the car stereo.
Attention: The installation of the subwoofer requires that the car has a cup holder, so it must be purchased separately if the car does not have one in the first place.

Alpine SWC-D84S fits Fiat Ducato 3, Citroën Jumper 2 and Peugeot Boxer 2 camper vans and vans.
Note: The car must have the original cup holder in order to install the SWC-D84S. Cup holders (part number: 71807349) are sold by Fiat Ducato dealers.

Plug & Play wiring harnesses

The SWC-D84S is delivered with ready-made wiring harnesses. The wiring harness connects the two rear channels of the player to the subwoofer, and the wiring harness also has an integrated crossover filter. The splitter is left unconnected if/when the SWA-150KIT amplifier is purchased for the subwoofer.

Stage 3 – Front speakers + Subwoofer + amplifier

In addition to the front speakers and subwoofer, Stage 3 includes a separate 150W amplifier for the subwoofer and a separate bass level control. The amplifier is very compact in terms of physical dimensions and can be installed hidden behind the car's center console. The amplifier comes with a Plug & Play cable set to connect the amplifier to the Alpine player.
