Audison APBMW S8-2.2 BMW subwoofer, 2 ohm
The APBMW S8-2.2 has the same compact design and acoustic performance as the previous version, making it a perfect fit for standard locations. The APBMW S8-2.2 is compatible with all BMW and Mini models that are already compatible with the previous version. This revised version has an even smaller installation depth, making it also compatible with the following BMW G-Series X models:

The electro-acoustic parameters of the Audison APBMW S8-2 subwoofer have been optimized to maximize performance when installed in the original locations. The ABS plastic housing is reinforced with fiberglass and its acoustic structure is unusual, i.e. the magnet is located at the top of the element. The advantage of this solution is that the installation depth of the element has been kept as low as possible without compromising performance. The housing is sealed with polyurethane, which allows the subwoofer to be mechanically separated from the car structure, thus ensuring uncolored and punchy bass reproduction.
APBMW S8 subwoofers allow you to replace the original drivers without any special installation tools and even without additional amplification they provide a huge improvement over the original drivers. Naturally, we recommend that the subwoofers are fed the extra power they need through an amplifier and for this purpose the last 4 channels of the AP8.9 bit amplifier can be bridged, giving the subwoofer a continuous 130 W power per side.

4. Two 5 mm seals mechanically isolate the driver from the car's structure, improving bass reproduction accuracy and reducing resonances.
5. The 4 ohm voice coil maximizes the achievable sound pressure when using the Audison AP 8.9 bit with the last four channels bridged.
