Audison APK165 Audison Prima 6.5" 2-way separate set
The APK 165 separate set consists of AP 6.5 midbasses and AP 1 tweeters equipped with passive crossovers. The set is ideal for installation in standard car locations and has a neutral, accurate sound.
As an excellent additional option, we recommend Audison's DSP amplifier, which allows you to further modify the tone to your liking and with additional power, you can utilize the true potential of the speaker set.

AP 6.5 mid-bass driver
The AP 6.5 is a mid-bass with an exceptionally wide frequency response and a sturdy voice coil, so it can withstand even loud playing. The tone is neutrally accurate, and thanks to the cone's lightweight but rigid structure, even the smallest dynamics and subtle tonal details are transmitted to the listener's ears exactly as the artist intended.
Mid-woofer driver features
1. Very wide frequency response, both high and low frequencies.
2. Designed to operate without a passive crossover filter for maximum efficiency.
In the design and optimization of the cone, a Klippel R&D Scan vibrometer has been utilized to calibrate the mechanical low-pass filter.
3. Water-repellent treated paper cone whose profile has been modeled using FEM (Finite Element Method) simulation and further optimized using the Klippel R&D Scan vibrometer.
4. Shallow installation depth makes it easier to fit the speakers in their original locations.
5. The upper suspension made of thermoplastic polyurethane with a three-part structure keeps the movement of the element very linear.
6. The compact body structure is treated with a scratch-resistant coating.
7. 32mm pure copper voice coil produces a balanced tone in the critical midrange.

AP 1 tweeter
The AP 1 tweeter consists of a 26 mm dome and a specially designed acoustic lens that compensates for the 10 kHz - 13 kHz frequency range. A neodymium REN-type magnet and an extremely small passive crossover keep the tweeter reproduction toned and controlled.
Tweeter driver characteristics
1. The 26 mm dome combined with the oversized top suspension ensures excellent efficiency and minimal resonances.
2. Neodymium magnet with low carbon plates allows for compact size and more linear playback even in the most demanding music samples.
3. The acoustic lens is designed to compensate for attenuation and emphasis caused by OEM grilles in the 10 - 13 kHz range.
4. The extremely compact passive crossover APCX TW is included in the package and the treble level control (0 dB, +2 dB) allows the sound to be adjusted to work in the original installation locations.
5. The crossovers are equipped with OEM-compatible quick connectors and are clearly color-coded to minimize connection errors during installation.
6. The package comes with a wide range of different tweeter mounting brackets that can be used to fit the original locations of almost any car.
7. The ultra-light ferrofluid-cooled tweeter voice coil is wrapped in Kapton former for better heat distribution.
8. The shape of the dome and the motor are optimized using FEM (Finite Element Method) simulation.
