AUTO-CONNECT 6.5″ WATERPROOF

The Auto-Connect 6.5″ water protector prevents the speaker from getting wet if e.g. rain/washwater gets into the car door. The silicone protective ring is installed around the speaker and is suitable for all 6.5" speakers. The ring seals the speaker tightly against the installation surface and the protective ring also seals against the door panel.
It comes with damping mats that can be glued behind the installation site, which reduce standing waves, bringing more precision to the mid-bass.

The material is soft silicone, so if necessary it can easily be cut with scissors.

Note: Water running into the speaker will almost always break the speaker sooner or later. The breakdown of the speaker due to the water that got into it is never a defect covered by the speaker's warranty!
