AUTO-CONNECT 6.5″ WATERPROOF

The Auto-Connect 6.5″ water protector prevents the speaker from getting wet if, for example, rain or washing water gets inside the car door. The silicone protective ring is installed around the speaker and is suitable for all 6.5″ speakers. The ring seals the speaker tightly against the mounting surface and the protective ring also seals against the door panel.
It comes with damping mats that can be glued behind the installation location, which reduce standing waves, bringing more accuracy to the midbass.

The material is soft silicone, so it can be easily cut with scissors if necessary.

Note: Water getting into a speaker will almost invariably break the speaker sooner or later. Speaker failure due to water getting into it is never a defect covered by the speaker warranty!

Installation tip: The "horn" of the water protectors is double when taken out of the package and you can get additional length for the horn by opening it.
