Midbasses with a new body
The BLAM 130 RFS is an updated version of the popular 130RS standalone series, released in December 2023. The frequency response of the new RFS version has been increased compared to the previous model (80Hz – 28kHz).
The completely redesigned composite body also includes a new, more robust connector terminal, and the element can be installed in more and more cars, thanks to the reduced installation depth.
Trebles
The tweeters in the separate series are fabric dome tweeters, which come with the cups required for flush mounting. When the mounting adapters are removed from the tweeter, the physical size of the element is very small and it is possible to install the speaker in many cars in place of the original tweeter.
Crossover filters with level control
The crossover is very small and is integrated into the tweeter cable. This makes installation easier, especially when the midbass is mounted in the door and the tweeter is placed on the dashboard. The crossover has the option to enable a -3dB attenuation for the tweeter.
The 130 RFS is very suitable for use after the car's original stereo, and thanks to its high sensitivity and two-ohm impedance, no separate amplifier is needed.
