BLAM's Signature collection condenses Guy Bonneville's over 25 years of experience in designing and manufacturing car speakers. Signature is exactly what BLAM means by "French Sound".
The Signature Series speakers are designed from start to finish in the BLAM laboratory and hand-assembled in France. All elements in the speaker sets are individually tested and paired.

Midbass
The Signature 165.300 standalone series 6.5″ cast-body WS 6.300 midbass has a very stiff but lightweight carbon fiber cone, NBR top suspension, Conex bottom suspension and 38mm voice coil. The midbass is very sensitive (93.2dB) so in terms of the required amplifier power, the Signature 165.300 does not require high amplifier power behind it.

Midrange
The MS 3.55 is a three-inch midrange with cast bodies, recommended for installation in 0.3 – 1.9l enclosures. The phase-plug drivers, like the midbasses, have a stiff but lightweight carbon fiber cone and NBR and Conax suspensions. The midrange has a 20mm voice coil and a large 55 x 10mm magnet.

Trebles
The Signature 165.300 series TS 20HR tweeter is physically one of the smallest on the market. The tweeter was designed with a focus on lightness and clarity of sound, but it was also designed to be as small as possible, keeping in mind the tight tweeter spaces in new cars. The tweeters also come with slim bullet-style surface-mounting cups when the speakers are surface-mounted.

Passive crossover filters
Signature 165.300 includes compact 6/12/12dB passive crossover filters. The filters use very low resistance air core coils and metallized polyester capacitors.
