BLAM 165RS separate set
The renewed 6.5″ stand-alone series of the BLAM Relax collection.
The 165RS is BLAM's most popular separate series, which has now been renewed in almost all areas in 2021. The Midbasso has a new body, greater sensitivity than before, a longer range of motion, new connector terminals, etc. The treble element has been updated with a new magnet and a new voice coil. In terms of sound quality, the BLAM 165RS is now even closer to separate sets in more expensive price categories.
Thanks to the high sensitivities and two-ohm voice coils of the BLAM Relax collection, all Relax speakers are very suitable as a replacement for the original car speakers, as the car's factory-installed amplifiers are more or less low-powered.
Revamped midbass
Phase-plugged midbass with paper pulp cone, butyl rubber suspension and 85 x 17mm magnet guarantee high power durability and 95.2dB sensitivity. The midbass have renewed bodies and connector terminals, and the sensitivity of the elements and the trajectory of the cone have increased.
New tweeters with directional cups
BLAM renewed the 6.5″ separate series tweeters with new magnets and new voice coils. The separate kit now also includes stylish "Luoti" surface mounting cups for trebles.
Distribution filters
Installing a separate set is easy, because the treble element has a crossover filter to be installed between the speaker cable, which has a level control for the treble. By changing the wiring, you can reduce the treble level by -3dB if you wish.
A small-sized divider filter for just the treble element makes installation easier, especially if the mid-bass comes to the door and the treble to the dashboard, for example.
