Description
BLAM 165RS-CRAFTER / T6.1 is a separate kit designed and assembled in Finland for Volkswagen Crafter and Transporter T6.1.
The starting point of the speaker series is the very popular 6.5" stand-alone series 165RS by French BLAM, which has been modified so that the series can replace Volkswagen's original speakers.
Mid basses
Installing the speaker set does not require any modifications to the car or the car's structures, but all components fit 100% directly in place of the original speakers and using the original connectors.
The 6.5″ midbass has a paper pulp cone, butyl rubber suspension and an efficient 85 x 17mm magnet. These guarantee high power durability and 95dB sensitivity.
Treble
The tweeter is a fabric dome tweeter with a 20mm copper/aluminum voice coil and a neodymium magnet, which is a direct replacement for the original tweeter of the VW Crafter and T6.1.
Distribution filters
Installing the separate set is easy, because the set does not have separate crossover filters, but the high-pass filter is integrated into the tweeter cable.
