BLAM 165RS-CRAFTER / T6.1 is a separate kit designed and assembled in Finland for the Volkswagen Crafter and Transporter T6.1.
The speaker set is based on the French company BLAM's very popular 6.5″ separate series 165RS, which has been modified so that the set can replace Volkswagen's original speakers.
Midbass
Installing the speaker set does not require any modifications to the car or its structures, all components fit 100% directly in place of the original speakers and use the original connectors.
The 6.5″ mid-woofer has a paper pulp cone, butyl rubber suspension and a powerful 85 x 17mm magnet. These ensure high power handling and 95dB sensitivity.
Treble
The tweeter is a fabric dome tweeter with a 20mm copper/aluminum voice coil and a neodymium magnet, which fits directly in place of the original tweeter in the VW Crafter and T6.1.
Crossover filters
Installing the separate kit is easy, as the kit does not have separate crossover filters, but rather the high-pass filter is integrated into the tweeter cable.
