A 6.5″ separate set from the BLAM Relax collection that fits many different Toyota models.
BLAM 165TOY S is a separate kit made for many different Toyotas, which fits directly in place of the car's original speakers.
Midbass
The 165TOY S is a direct replacement for the original Toyota midbass. The driver has a fiberglass cone and a butyl rubber top suspension.
The midbass body is made of composite plastic and the design of the body also takes into account the moisture that may accumulate inside the door. The 90 x 15mm magnet is completely protected around the perimeter, preventing moisture and water from entering the magnet.
The midbass connector matches the connector on Toyota's original speaker, so replacing the speakers does not require any modifications to the car's wiring.
Tweeters and crossovers
The tweeter in the separate set is a 25 mm fabric dome tweeter with a neodymium magnet. The tweeter comes with a separate 6dB/oct. high-pass filter, which also has a treble level control (0dB -> -3dB).
The tweeter can be surface-mounted in the car and comes with separate surface-mounting cups and recessed cups if you want to embed the speaker in, for example, the mirror triangle or A-pillar. In addition, the speaker set includes separate mounting collars that allow the tweeter to fit directly in place of the original tweeter in some Toyota models.
In these cars, where a mounting collar is not used, it is recommended to install the tweeters with surface mount cups and direct the drivers as precisely as possible towards the driver.
