The BLAM 200RS-T5 is a special kit designed and assembled in Finland for the Volkswagen T5 Transporter.
The speaker set is based on the very popular 8″ separate series 200RS from French company BLAM, which has been modified so that the set can replace the original speakers of the VW Transporter.
8″ midbass
Installing the speaker set does not require any modifications to the car or its structures, all components fit 100% directly in place of the original speakers and use the original connectors.
The 8″ mid-woofer has a paper pulp cone, butyl rubber suspension and a sturdy magnet. These ensure high power handling and a very high sensitivity of 94dB.
25mm Tweeter
The tweeter is a fabric dome tweeter with a 25mm copper/aluminum voice coil and a neodymium magnet, which fits directly in place of the original tweeter in the VW Transporter.
Crossover filters and connectors
Installing the separate kit is easy, as the kit does not have separate large crossover filters, but the high-pass filter is integrated into the tweeter cable. The connectors of the 200RS-T5 separate kit fit directly into the original VW Transporter connectors and installing the separate kit does not require modifications to the car's wiring.
