Who is the BLAM Live 165 LSQ made for?
For those who love the sound of vinyl, i.e. long for a soft, effortless, warm and dynamic sound. The Live 165 LSQ is a very good example of BLAM's "French Sound" philosophy, where the reproduction is as natural as possible regardless of the music style and makes you focus on what's most important: the Music.
Live 165 LSQ is a separate series with fabric dome tweeters and cast-frame midbass, whose cones are paper pulp reinforced with bamboo fiber. The midbass have two ohm voice coils and a high sensitivity of 93.3dB, so the elements sound very nice even without a separate amplifier.
BLAM has always taken into account the ease of installation of the speakers as well, and for this reason the Live 165 LSQ has its own compact crossover filter for each channel. This is much more comfortable to install, especially if the midbass is installed in the door and the trebles on the dashboard, for example.
High- and low-pass filters are 12dB/oct. the steepness and the treble filters have a three-position level control for the treble.
The Live LT 25 fabric dome tweeters are easy to install thanks to their small size, and the speakers come with recessed and surface mounting cups. The LT25 tweeter also fits directly in place of the original tweeter of some cars, so the elements remain hidden. For the sake of sound quality, if possible, we recommend installing the tweeters with the included surface mounting adapters, which make it easy to direct the elements towards the listener.
