BLAM SIGNATURE 165.80+

BLAM's Signature collection summarizes Guy Bonneville's more than 25 years of experience in designing and manufacturing car speakers. Signature is exactly what BLAM means by the term "French Sound".
The loudspeakers of the Signature collection are designed from start to finish in BLAM's laboratory and the products are assembled by hand in France. All elements of the speaker sets have been tested and paired individually.
Signature 165.80+ in a nutshell:

Mid basses
Signature 165.80+ separate series 6.5″ cast body WS 6.80 midbass has a very stiff but light fiber cone, IIR upper suspension, Conex lower suspension and 28mm voice coil. The midbass are really sensitive (94.3dB), so the Signature 165.80+ does not require large amplifier powers.

Trebles
Signature 165.80+ – series TS 20HR tweeter is physically one of the smallest on the market. The most important criteria in the design of the tweeter have been the unstressedness of the sound and the lightness of the sound, but in addition to this, the element was wanted to be as small as possible, keeping in mind the cramped treble positions of new cars. The tweeters are also supplied with slim bullet-style surface mounting cups when the speakers are installed as surface mounting.
- 3/4″ (20mm) textile cone in treble
- Ferrofluid cooling
- Powerful N38H neodymium magnet
- Treble playback range: 2.5kHz – 40kHz
- Tweeter impedance: 5ohm
- Tweeter mounting hole: 33.6mm
- Treble outer diameter: 36.2mm

Passive crossover filters
The Signature 165.80+ series comes with its own compact crossover filter for each speaker. This makes the installation much easier, especially when the mid-bass is installed e.g. on the door and the treble on the dashboard.
If you install the midbass in the front doors, we definitely recommend the CTK Doorkit, which you can use to easily dampen the front doors when installing the speakers.
