The car model-specific reversing camera is installed in the place of the car's original additional brake light. The additional brake light camera is IP68 protected, so the camera is completely dustproof and can withstand high-pressure water jets.
The CAM-FT1 has a fixed 70cm cable with a multi-pole connector, with which the camera is connected to the supplied extension cord (more details below).

Installation:
- Remove the car's original additional brake light and disconnect the cable for the additional brake light
- Connect the cable CAM-FT1 to the camera and test the operation of the brake light
- Connect the included extension cable to the camera's fixed cable and install the additional brake light camera in the place of the original brake light. Make sure no wires are kinked or pinched.
- Black wire = Ground
- Red wire = Current from the reversing light
- Yellow RCA cable = to the reverse camera connection of the Player / Monitor (if you use an Alpine player with a Direct camera connection, you need this adapter)
- If you also want to use the sounds, connect the white RCA to the audio input of the player / monitor.
