High output MC sound box
The Cambridge Audio Alva MC sound box is familiar from the Alva TT record player. It is a stylish sound box that digs out wonderful musical details from the record. The exposed outer wrist reduces unwanted resonances and vibrations, which can be a drawback of closed models. Compared to many of its MM cousins, the ALVA MC is lighter and faster to respond to the grooves of the record, so it can reproduce more musical details. Elliptical needle grinding provides better frequency response and less distortion.
