Description
Enables the installation of a retrofit player in many different Volkswagen, Skoda and Seat models.
AH-IGN-VW1 can change the car's CAN bus voltage to 12V ACC current, thanks to which the player starts and turns off controlled by the ignition key, just like the car's original player. AH-IGN-VW1 is Plug & Play installable and does not require modifications to the car's original wiring. The Quadlock connector fits the car's Quadlock connector and the ISO connectors connect to the retrofit player.
VAG Group cars often require an antenna adapter with 12V excitation. The AH-IGN-VW1 has an open blue wire from which you get the excitation required by the antenna adapter. If you do not connect the blue wire, remember to protect the wire carefully.

If the car has the original steering wheel buttons for the radio, we recommend an installation kit that includes all the necessary parts to install the player. The AH-IGN-VW1 adapter is not needed with the installation kits, but the steering wheel remote control that comes with the kits can change the CAN bus voltage to 12V ACC current.
