CTK Dominator is a ″hardcore″ damping mat series for even demanding users.
The butyl rubber layer is developed from high molecular weight polyisobutylene, several different types of rubber, additives, and fillers. By combining these, you get a very effective composite material.
The composite has a very high viscosity and is characterized by a very high mechanical loss factor (MLF) value. The MLF is higher than the Premium series. The efficiency of CTK Dominator mats is increased even more by using 150 micrometer thick aluminum foil!
This is one and a half times more than other similar products from competing brands. Still, the material remains light.
CTK Dominator is great for car doors, trunks, floors, and wheel covers. Dominator can also be used at home to silence many types of equipment: computers, air conditioning and ventilation machines, as well as many types of household appliances.
The product is non-toxic, water-resistant, and does not absorb moisture or break down due to weather conditions
