CTK WaveFix is a polyurethane mat impregnated with latex. The structure of the carpet hides closed and semi-open pores of different sizes. The wave-like shape has a better damping effect than a flat mat and WaveFix "remembers its shape", i.e. when the mat is glued, for example, behind a plastic panel and the panel is installed, WaveFix slowly returns to its original wave-like shape and seals the space behind the panel very efficiently.
The mat's damping performance is the best at frequencies above 500Hz, but the damping of extra sounds starts already at about one hundred hertz, so if the goal is to get the most effective damping in the car, CTK WaveFix is the solution.
WaveFix is also optimal for removing various rattles and other resonance sounds from e.g. doors, roof, trunk lid, dashboard and A, B and C pillars.
CTK WaveFix is really flexible, so it can be installed even on very complex surfaces, and it is recommended to install the mat on CTK Premium mat as well.
In addition to sound reduction, WaveFix insulates heat, prevents the formation of bacteria, mold and moisture.
