CTK WaveFix PU is an identical mat to the "traditional" WaveFix, but the distinguishing feature is the water-repellent, black polyurethane film on the surface layer. Thanks to the water-repellent surface, WaveFix PU has a wide range of applications.
The structure of the mat hides closed and semi-open pores of different sizes. The wavy shape has better damping effect than a flat mat and WaveFix PU “remembers its shape”, meaning that when the mat is glued behind a plastic panel, for example, and the panel is installed in place, WaveFix slowly returns to its original wavy shape and seals the space behind the panel very effectively.
CTK WaveFix PU mat can also be installed on top of CTK Premium mat.
In addition to sound absorption, WaveFix PU insulates heat and prevents the formation of bacteria, mold and moisture.
WaveFix can also be used in industry for sound absorption in various machines and inside speaker and subwoofer enclosures.
