Deno's flagship home theater amplifier AVC-X8500HA contains a reference-level 13-channel amplifier, with each amplifier channel precisely separated on its own circuit board. You can listen to top-quality 3D surround sound in Dolby Atmos 7.2.6/9.2.4, DTS:X PRO or 13.2 Auro-3D format without separate additional amplifiers. Naturally, the amplifier supports the latest 4K and 8K Ultra HD video formats and features such as Dolby Vision, HLG (Hybrid Log Gamma), 4:4:4 Pure Color, HDR (High Dynamic Range), 21:9 video and BT.2020.

In addition to top-class home theater features, the amplifier acts as the heart of your wireless music system: Completely wireless connectivity via Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. The AVC-X8500HA works with Apple AirPlay 2, bringing the market's best voice control and incredible sound to your home. The built-in HEOS multi-room technology allows you to play your favorite music wirelessly in any room you want. Play the same song throughout your home or choose a different song for each room. The amplifier is capable of playing up to 24-bit/192-khz lossless ALAC, FLAC and WAV files as well as 2.8 and 5.6 MHz DSD tracks (SACD file format) via the front panel USB port and from network sources.

The AVC-X8500HA features sophisticated DSP audio processing that utilizes two last-generation dual-core SHARC DSP Griffin Lite processors.

For optimal sound quality and the widest distortion-free dynamic frequency response, the Denon AVC-X8500HA features reference-level 32-bit AKM AK4490EQ stereo D/A converters for each channel. The AVC-X8500HA's first HDMI output supports eARC (enhanced audio return channel), which enables uncompressed and object-based audio transmission, such as Dolby Atmos and DTS:X, directly from smart TV applications.

Experience movies up to 8K with 8K / 60Hz pass-through or upscaling, and the latest AV technology, such as Quick Media Switching (QMS), used to eliminate video lag. The AVC-X8500HA enables full gaming enjoyment with 4K / 120Hz pass-through and variable refresh rate (VRR), high-speed frame rate (QFT) and automatic low latency mode (ALLM), which reduce or eliminate lag and image tearing to provide a completely smooth gaming experience.

Initial settings and connections easily

Equipped with full Audyssey Platinum DSP algorithms including Audyssey MultEQ XT32 room correction system. The included measurement microphone analyzes the sound of each speaker separately from up to eight measurement points and creates precise digital filters that optimize the frequencies and time delays of each channel. In addition, with the separately available MultEQ Editor application, you can fine-tune the sound to suit your listening environment and preferences. Use your Denon AVC-X8500H amplifier with the remote control of your Smart TV using the HDMI CEC feature. Just turn on the amplifier's “HDMI Control” and “Smart Menu” functions and the AVC-X8500H can be controlled with the TV's remote control. The Smart Menu's Home screen provides quick access to sound source and surround mode selection, the amplifier settings menu and four Smart Select selections.
