Stable power output means better sound quality from your old or new speakers. The amplifier technology represents Denon's traditional class AB isolated implementation, which offers tonal and natural sound without clinical sharpness. The AVR-X1700H creates a realistic and immersive experience with both stereo music and multi-channel 3D sound effects. Of the latter, the amplifier can e.g. Dolby Atmos®, Dolby Atmos Height Virtualization, DTS:X® and DTS Virtual:X™ technologies. The AVR-X1700H is compatible with the latest 8K/60Hz video technologies. 8K/60 and 4K/120Hz pass-through is in the three inputs, so you can enjoy perfect image reproduction with the latest game consoles and computers when gaming. Otherwise, on the image side, e.g. Dolby Vision™, HDR10, HDR10+, 8K upscaling and HDCP 2.3 support can be found on all HDMI connections (6 in/1 out), so the amplifier is perfectly equipped with today's best image sources and display devices in mind.
With HEOS® features, you can stream the most popular streaming services such as Spotify®, TIDAL, Deezer, TuneIn, Amazon Music HD, Soundcloud and many others over Bluetooth, Apple AirPlay 2 or Wi-Fi. The Denon AVR-X1700H works with Amazon Alexa and Apple Siri voice control if you wish.
The award-winning Denon Setup Assistant first-time installer ensures that the settings go to the miter at once. Every home theater is different - that's why Denon uses Audyssey's state-of-the-art calibration technology, which automatically measures and optimizes the audio system to suit the conditions of the listening room. For those who need particularly precise adjustability, the Audyssey Editor application (paid option) is also available, with which you can modify the target response and other features of the room correction to your heart's content.

Immerse yourself in a multidimensional sound world with Dolby Atmos. Implement a Dolby Atmos 5.2.2 surround speaker system with additional Dolby Atmos speakers or actual ceiling-mounted Atmos speakers. Dolby Atmos Virtual Processing provides great sound even without physical height speakers, creating virtual height effects using 7.2, 5.2 or 2.2 speaker systems.
