Denon's HEOS Superlink
Multiroom preamplifier
The Denon Heos SuperLink acts as a preamplifier for four HEOS zones from one compact housing. It can be controlled by third-party devices, which include e.g. Control4, Crestron, RTI, URC and ELAN. HEOS SuperLink can therefore be adapted to almost any professional home automation.
There is a stereo pair of line outputs for each zone, and each pair can be configured as a stereo or mixed mono output. The device also has four coaxial and optical digital inputs and four analog stereo inputs, each of which can be directed to any HEOS zone. Each zone also has a separate USB port to which an external USB memory can be connected.
The device comes with removable legs and attachable rack ears, so it can be placed on any level or alternatively on a rack. When HEOS SuperLink is installed and connected to the network, the initial settings and configuration of the device is easy and quick to do using the HEOS app.
The device has two RJ-45 Etherrnet ports, through which the SuperLink can be connected to the network and the network can be forwarded to other devices, as the HEOS SuperLink is compatible with several third-party devices.
The HEOS SuperLink has a built-in DSP with high- and low-pass filters, so it's ready for almost any speaker configuration. Any output can be adjusted for full band, subwoofer or satellite speakers with a selectable crossover frequency.
