The DLS CCi500-40 is DLS's multi-amplifier, made to celebrate the Swedish brand's 40th anniversary. The amplifier is very small in terms of physical dimensions, so it is easy to install the amplifier in almost any car. The class D amplifier has a very good efficiency, so the power consumption of the amplifier is moderate and the amplifier stays cool even during longer listening sessions.
The amplifier has an adjustable low-pass filter (35 – 250HZ) with 12dB / 24dB pitches and 0/180° phase reversal. The lowest (below 30Hz) frequencies can be cut out with the help of Subsonic.
The amplifier comes with a wired level control for adjusting the subwoofer and the CCi500-40 is also equipped with auto-start when using a speaker-level input. This makes it easier to connect the amplifier behind the car's factory-installed stereo.
The sound quality of the DLS CCi500-40 has been refined to its peak in cooperation with the Englishman Gordon Taylor, who is known for example. As the father of Genesis amplifiers.
