The DLS Cruise CRPP-BMW1.4 is a really great sounding separate kit that fits dozens of different BMW models.
There are many different versions of factory-installed speaker sets for BMWs of the same body styles and years. The front door of the car may have different speakers than the rear door, the parcel shelf, the side panel or the center speaker on the dashboard. Before installation, we recommend checking the speakers in your car.
At the bottom of this page you will find the user and installation instructions, which include a very comprehensive and detailed compatibility table, and the table shows which adapters can be used to install the speakers in different BMW models. The separate kit comes with all the necessary adapter options.
Some BMW models do not have factory-installed tweeters at all, e.g. in the mirror triangle, and in this case you will need the original mirror triangles with tweeter slots to install the kit.
Better sound easily?
If you are not happy with the current sound system in your car, replacing your speakers is the biggest change you can make to your sound. Replacing speakers may sound like a complicated process, but DLS Cruise kits are designed to be easy to install, even if you have no previous experience replacing speakers.
There's no need to cut wires or solder new wires, or purchase car-specific mounting adapters. The Cruise kit comes with all the necessary components and you only need a few basic tools to replace your speakers.

86dB sensitivity
The CRPP-BMW1.4 drivers have a sensitivity of 86dB, which means you don't necessarily need a separate amplifier to drive these speakers. The speakers also work with BMW's original audio system, although the amplifiers in factory-installed audio systems are generally more or less modest.
However, with a separate amplifier, you can get even more kick and dynamics to your sound, and of course, more volume.
