The Emit 20 is a high-performance loudspeaker that descends from the Evoke, Contour i and Confidence series. It offers a startling combination of detail and power for small and medium-sized rooms.
The speaker uses an 18cm MSP (Magnesium Silicate Polymer) bass element, which is based on Evoke series elements. MSP is a material that was developed by Dynaudio and has been used for years in Dynaudio's most famous models. The cone itself is one piece. The dust cup is molded as part of the cone surface, giving it a solid connection to the voice coil that moves it back and forth. This means more precise control and detailed reproduction in the midrange and low frequencies.
The Cerotar tweeter is straight from the Evoke series. It's a 28mm fabric helmet that includes the ingenious Hexis internal construction. The DSR-coated fabric dome rings beautifully at high frequencies and reproduces all the details and creates the openness you want to hear in your recordings. The Hexis structure, on the other hand, smoothes the frequency response and reduces unwanted resonances.
Options for finishing are black, white and walnut. The finishes beautifully complement the pure Scandinavian design of the enclosures, designed at Dynaudio's headquarters in Denmark. It also includes magnetically attached front nets.
