Instead of a normal rubber or plastic sleeve, 4Connect ring connectors come with a piece of high-quality shrink sleeve. A shrink sleeve protects the joint from oxidation much better than a loose rubber sleeve or plastic sleeve.

Many manufacturers make connectors from brass, which conducts worse than copper because it is cheaper than copper. All 4Connect ring and fork connectors for 20 mmq cables and larger cables are made of 100% copper. The connectors are rhodium-coated so that the contact remains good for a long time.
