Inside the cabinet you will find four MAD PM2 series 8" midrange/midbass drivers and horn drivers (PT2-254). Both feature a copper ring that reduces distortion. This speaker combination works great together and produces both high-quality and insanely loud sound, at a reasonable price!

Smart design
The MAD PB2-48 is cleverly designed! The MAD PB2 series has slightly larger external dimensions than its smaller brother, the MAD PB1. GAS has adjusted the enclosures to be deeper in order to produce even more midbass – something you will definitely appreciate. And that's not all. At the ends of the enclosure you will find a reflex port that ensures optimal sound pressure. Do you want to place the "raggar" on top of or near the sub enclosure? In that case, place the included MDF boards in place and cover the ports. This way the enclosure becomes closed and integrates better with your sub.
Four massive 8" midbasses!
In developing the PM2-84, GAS has learned from both the PSM84 and its little brother, the MAD PM1-84.
The resonance frequency is an impressive 70 Hz! The design is a significant departure from the PM1 series. You’ll find a black-coated paper cone that’s extremely durable – and produces great sound! The polypropylene dust cup has been updated and decorated with a stylish die-cut GAS logo. The chassis has also been improved, now finished in a black textured paint. If you’re planning on adding more speakers – or tweeters – a handy flat connector is now included to make installation easier.

The MAD PB2-48 features completely redesigned one-inch GAS MAD bullet tweeters that really sound loud!
One of the innovations in the drivers is the wave-patterned drivers in the speakers, which not only improve the sound quality, but also make the sound field wider than before, meaning more sound over a wider area.

Renovated terminals
One of the great features of the GAS MAD PB2-48 is GAS's AST (Active Smart Terminal) terminals. The new terminals allow you to bypass the built-in crossover, allowing you to connect two amplifiers to the Raggar Planka, one to control the mids and the other to control the treble.
