The GAS MAD PT1 horn discs sound really loud!
Insane sensitivity
The MAD PT1-254 has a respectable sensitivity of 95dB, so sound can be obtained even with low amplifier power.
The tweeters have a one-inch voice coil, a sturdy cast body, and a wave-patterned driver, which not only improves sound quality, but also makes the sound field wider than before, meaning more sound, over a wider area.
The speakers do not have separate terminals, as the wires now come directly from the voice coil, which means less installation space is required than normal.
Crossover filter
For optimal sound, we recommend high-pass filtering at 5kHz. This will prevent the tweeter from trying to reproduce frequencies lower than it is intended for.
The speakers come with 3.3uF capacitors as crossover filters and are pre-connected to the speaker cable.
How much should we put in?
Even though it's a lot, because at this price you won't ruin two, four or eight pairs, but you'll still get votes for it.
