The new injection-molded IMPP (Injection Molded Polypropylene) cone of GAS MAD subwoofers is rigid and made to last a long time. Not forgetting that all MAD elements are outrageously cool.
USG "Unity Surround Gasket"
The upper suspension of the GAS MAD subwoofers is "one piece" with the rubber ring that goes around the element. This eliminates uneven movement of the cone.
"Keep it cool"
When playing loudly, cooling the voice coil is of prime importance. GAS MAD subwoofers have DCS (Dual Ventilation System), which reduces the heating of the voice coil and guarantees a longer continuous bass.
Appearance matters
On the body of the MAD elements, you will find details such as the letter "M" and the stylish GAS logos, which also serve as cooling openings for the voice coil. Element's dust cup is the same injection-molded polypropylene as the cone, but equipped with a stylish GAS logo.
In what case?
GAS MAD subwoofers are suitable for both closed and reflex housings! For all case options, we definitely recommend putting cotton wool inside. The right amount depends on your listening habits, and the amount of wadding can really affect the sound.
