Stronger than ever
The GAS MAD2-6 is not made for playing quiet background music, but the MAD "second" is made to play louder than ever.
The midrange drivers in the separate series feature a high sensitivity of 94dB, a reinforced, highly durable paper pulp cone, a stylish 3D patterned polypropylene dust cup, and a sturdy metal frame. The voice coil and magnet are larger than the MAD1 models.
The most significant innovation, however, is that the resonant frequency has been lowered to 90 hertz. This means a lot of sound for little money.

Robust trebles
The MAD2-6 separate series tweeters feature a one-inch voice coil, a sturdy cast body, and a wave-patterned driver, which not only improves sound quality but also provides a wider sound field than before, meaning more sound over a wider area.
The speakers do not have separate terminals, as the wires now come directly from the voice coil, which means less installation space is required than normal.
Note: The speakers have a crossover filter integrated into the tweeter cable. This must be removed when using the crossover filters that come with the separate kit.
The filter integrated into the speaker cable is only used when PXO1-24 crossover filters are not used.

The GAS MAD2-6 series features high-quality passive filters with separate treble level control. The crossover is also suitable for use with double mids.
