GAS MAD2 is a bolder and stronger-sounding collection of MAD speakers , which offers a better price-quality ratio than ever before!
As a novelty, in addition to 6.5″ and 8″ elements, MAD2 also covers 10″ loose elements for the first time!
Stronger than ever
The GAS MAD2-88 stand-alone series with double mids is not made for playing any quiet background music, but the MAD "second" is made to play louder than ever.
The mids have a high sensitivity of 95dB, a reinforced really durable paper pulp cone, a stylish 3D patterned polypropylene dust cup and a sturdy metal frame. The voice coil and magnet are larger than the MAD1 models.
However, the most significant innovation is that the resonance frequency has been lowered to 70 hertz. So a lot of sound is promised for little money.

Bold trebles
The tweeters of the MAD2-88 separate series have a one-inch voice coil, a sturdy cast frame, and a wave-patterned rectifier, thanks to which the sound quality is even better, but also the sound field is wider than before, i.e. more sound, for a wider area.
The speakers do not have separate terminals, as the wires now come directly from the voice coil, which means that less installation space is needed than usual.
Note: The speakers already have a crossover filter integrated into the tweeter cable. This must be removed when you use the splitters that come with the separate kit.
The filter integrated in the speaker cable is only used when no PXO1-24 crossover filters are used.
