The largest model in The Ones series' very wide dynamics, superior directivity and stereo image, combined with a maximum sound pressure of 118 decibels, make it suitable for small and medium-sized studios and up to a listening distance of five meters.
All the loudspeaker elements of the 8361 are new: two bass elements capable of high sound pressure with very low distortion level and a new Minimum Diffraction Coaxial (MDC) – coaxial element. The coaxial element consisting of a treble and a midrange element offers good directivity, low distortion and reproduction up to 40 kilohertz. The shape of the coaxial element is seamlessly related to the shape of the Directivity Control Waveguide (DCW) covering the entire front of the 8361. Thanks to the extra-large rectifier, the reproduction remains color-free in an exceptionally wide listening area.
Like other active speakers from The Ones series, the 8361 reduces listening fatigue and enables correct and consistent decisions to be made even during long work sessions. Sound image distortions that cause listening fatigue have been minimized. And the 8361 really comes into its own when used with GLM software, which enables the removal of annoying room acoustics issues and facilitates the creation of high-quality audio recordings in both traditional stereo format and modern immersive multi-channel systems.
