The car's original player must be: RCD200, RCD300, RCD 310, RCD500, RCD510

With this kit, you can install a 1-DIN or 2-DIN Alpine player in your car. The set also includes an info/steering wheel remote control adapter, with which your car's original steering wheel buttons work with the aftermarket player.

This kit is also suitable for cars without original steering wheel buttons. The kit's steering wheel remote control adapter works as a CAN bus converter, which is also required by these cars that don't have steering wheel buttons.

Instrument display
The display of your car's instrument panel is also connected to the player with the AH-KIT-VW02 adapter, and you can see the radio channel information, information about the songs playing, and navigation guidance arrows on the screen. Navigation instructions only work if the player has built-in navigation. In addition, the introduction of guidance arrows may require the car to be used at a VW service, where navigation is added to the car's software data.

Parking sensors
If your car is equipped with factory-installed reversing sensors, these will remain in use with Alpine. The new Alpine instruments show the reversing radar information with even more accurate and detailed graphics.

Heating and air conditioning information
You get clear and detailed information on the Alpine screen every time you adjust the air conditioner or seat heaters. The display turns on automatically for a few seconds whenever adjustments are made.
