Grado GS3000x headphones
The Grado GS3000x are the best headphones the Brooklyn-based family-owned company has made in its seven decades of existence.
The body material of the headphones is Cocobolo wood imported from Central America (Panaman rosewood), which is embedded with a metal inner chamber for the headphone element itself.
Massive x-series element
Together with the new 52 mm diameter X Drive driver, the beautifully finished wooden construction ensures a deep and nuanced sound. The wooden material and the new driver are precisely matched to each other for optimal sound.
The X Drive driver features a stronger magnetic circuit, a lighter voice coil and a redesigned diaphragm. The larger driver than the older E-Series is more efficient, less distorted and preserves the harmonic coherence of the music in an unprecedented way.
Other X-Series updates
Like other higher-end Grado X-Series headphones, the GS3000x features an updated 12-conductor headphone cable that is both more flexible and delivers cleaner sound quality. The headband has also been redesigned to be more comfortable for long listening sessions.
All Grado headphones have been handmade in Brooklyn, New York since 1953.
