Ground Zero Iridium XSPL brings a new subwoofer element made for sound pressure use at an unprecedentedly affordable price range! The subwoofer has been renewed in many respects compared to the old GZIW 12spl subwoofer:
- Honeycomb shaped reinforced paper cone - Considerably lower Fs (40.8 Hz in the old element) - GZIW 12SPL-EXT Body with ″GZ″ logos familiar from Mali
Don't let the low price fool you. This element is excellent in performance for the price. More design work has been done than for most manufacturers' more expensive price categories. In Klippel optimization, 10-hour tests are carried out, in which the behavior of the element is measured in many ways and the weak points are dug out before production. This results in a very high-performance element.
Thanks to the even impedance response, the element receives power well. Thanks to the carefully designed voice coil and its cooling, power durability is excellent. The long range of motion enables ample sound pressure margins even at lower frequencies.
