Ground Zero's Radioactive SQ collection is new for fall 2019. The goal of the series has been the best possible sound quality in its price category. Klippel optimization has been used in the design to make the structure of the speaker element polished to the last level of functionality.
The collection has been developed on the basis of the previous Radioactive AL collection, in the design work of which Ground Zero's Finnish importer Audioimport (nowadays AI Group) has been heavily involved. The elements work excellently in typical car installation locations. Instead of casing, Midbasso works better in door installation without building separate casings.
Midbasso has an aluminum cone and rubber suspension. The lower-than-normal 3-ohm impedance helps to extract more power from the instrument or amplifier. The midrange driver has a neodymium magnet and a composite cast body. Thanks to these, the installation depth and the size of the magnet are suitable for most cars. The treble has a silk calotte treble. The speaker grills are included in the package.
Also available as a 2-way separate set Ground Zero GZRC 165.2SQ and as a passive 3-way separate set Ground Zero GZRC 165.3SQ. Separate tweeters Ground Zero GZRT 25SQ, midrange elements Ground Zero GZRM 80SQ and midbass Ground Zero GZRK 165SQ complete the collection.
