The Ground Zero GZRC 165/28-IV SQ is an updated version of the legendary GZRC 165 Anniversary-25 speaker series.
Good-sounding GZRK 165SQ elements are used as midbass of the GZRC 165/28-IV SQ series. The tweeters are new high-quality 28mm silk domes (GZRT 28SE). The goal of designing the series has been the best possible sound quality in its price category. In the design, Klippel optimization has been used to the advantage, with which the structure of the speaker element can be polished to be functional.
The elements work excellently in typical car installation locations. Instead of casing, Midbasso works better in door installation without building separate casings. Midbasso has an aluminum cone and rubber suspension. Lower than normal 3 Ohm impedance helps to extract more power from the instrument or amplifier.
The treble is a silk calotte treble. The splitters have been considerably smaller than their predecessors and have a three-stage level adjustment for the treble as well as an adjustment of the high-pass frequency, which helps to adjust the sound to the best fit for the installation location.
The mid-bass has its own 6db/oct low-pass filters that are already attached between the supplied speaker cables. The speaker grills are included in the package.
