HELIX DSP PRO MK3
Helix DSP PRO MK3 is the new third generation version of the popular Helix DSP PRO model.
The computing power of a DSP processor can only be improved by increasing the computing power. The Helix DSP PRO MK3 model has two of the most powerful 64-bit audio signal processors that can be found in the Analog Devices range. An incredible 2.4 billion MAC operations per second enable processing of ten individual channels and a 96 kHz sampling rate.
The AKM Velvet Sound 32Bit A/D and D/A converters used in the Helix DSP PRO MK3 model guarantee top-class sound quality with High-Res quality.
The new ACO platform (ACO = Advanced 32 Bit CoProcessor) enables fast operation in everything, but it also does a lot more.
One of the most significant novelties of this new processor is ISA (Input Signal Analyzer) and InputEQ, i.e. input signal measurement and equalizer. ISA measures the frequency response of the incoming signal and InputEQ is a channel-specific 5-channel parameter corrector that corrects possible distortions of the frequency response of the incoming signal. This provides a decent starting point for the best possible sound reproduction.
The Helix DSP PRO MK3 fits seamlessly behind any OEM sound source thanks to the ADEP.3 circuit and incredibly wide input sensitivity. The input sensitivity of 4-32 Volts in the speaker-level input enables installation behind OEM amplifiers in those cars where it is impossible to remove it from behind the player.
The signal can be brought in as speaker level, line level, optical or with the Helix HEC module sold as an accessory via Bluetooth or HD level with a USB cable.
High Level Input has the most advanced Autostart function on the market, with an adjustable switch-off delay of 10-300 seconds. The device starts up only after detecting the correct speaker signal, does not react to start-up bangs or other disturbances. Like Audiotec Fischer's other plug&play devices, an ideal product for radios implemented with a CAN bus, where the radio may be on for up to 40 minutes after the doors are locked.
DSP PC-Tool 5
Helix DSP PRO MK3 is compatible with Audiotec Fischer's new DSP PC-Tool 5 version.
The future is taken into account in the software, with almost unlimited update possibilities. During adjustments, the DSP is connected to the computer's USB 2.0 connection.
