Helix DSP ULTRA S

As the name already suggests, Helix DSP ULTRA S is quite something else than a new processor with a couple more channels. ULTRA S is a device that takes DSP devices to a whole new level and shows Audiotec Fischer's know-how as a pioneer in DSP technology.

The redesigned audio signal path reduces the distortion factor to a minimum: at its heart are the renowned AKM Velvet Sound™ 32 Bit AD and DA signal converters and new, high-quality operational amplifiers from the legendary TI/BurrBrown ″OPA series″ with SoundPlus™ technology, which guarantees the best possible sound quality.

Computing power can only be improved by increasing computing power. ULTRA S are two of the most efficient 64-bit audio signal processors that can be found in the Analog Devices range. An incredible 2.4 billion MAC operations per second enable the processing of twelve individual channels and a 96 kHz sampling rate.

The new 32-bit ACO platform enables fast operation in everything, but it also does a lot more. The most important feature is the analysis of the signal of OEM sound sources and the automatic correction of the response. This compensates for input signal distortions that are often done in OEM devices to compensate for low-quality original speakers.

ULTRA S fits seamlessly behind any OEM audio source thanks to the ADEP.3 circuit and incredibly wide input sensitivity. 4-32 Volt input sensitivity in speaker-level input enables installation behind OEM amplifiers in those cars where it is impossible to remove it from behind the player
