Hertz's DBA 200.3 active car subwoofer with a 200 mm (8") element and two passive radiators of the same size. The amplifier supplies the element with a continuous current of 140 W and is flush-mounted in the subwoofer's housing. From the amplifier's control panel, the crossover frequency, general level and phase of the subwoofer can be modified according to the user's taste and installation location. Hertz DBA 200.3 was designed to produce strong and punchy bass frequencies in a compact housing, and it also succeeded, because the sound of the subwoofer is surprisingly musical and discriminating.
