Hifiman HE-R10D headband headphones
In 1989, Sony created the legendary MDR-R10 closed-back headphones, whose transparent and powerful sound earned them a strong reputation, but production was discontinued after only 1,300 units. Thirty years later, Hifiman takes the original cup design and applies it to revive the legend in the form of the HE-R10D.
The HE-R10D manages to improve bass reproduction in particular compared to the original. However, the biggest differences come from Hifiman's Topology Diaphragm technology, which allows for more precise fine-tuning of the headphones. The aim is to preserve the magic of the original headphones, but fine-tune it a little more precisely. Along with the modernization, Hifiman included its new line of headbands, which significantly relieve pressure on the head, as well as its own hybrid ear cushions.
