Hifiman HE-R10D headband headphones
In 1989, Sony made the legendary MDR-R10 closed headphone, whose transparent and powerful sound gained a strong reputation, but the production was stopped after only 1300 pieces. Thirty years later, Hifiman takes the original cup design and applies it to resurrect the legend in the form of the HE-R10D.
The HE-R10D manages to improve especially the bass reproduction compared to the original. The biggest differences, however, arise with Hifiman's Topology Diaphragm technology, which enables more precise fine-tuning of the headphones. The effort is to keep the magic of the original headphones, but to fine-tune it even more. Along with the modernization, Hifiman included a headband from its new line, which significantly eases the pressure on the head, as well as its own hybrid ear cushions.
